Hello and welcome to Rathmines Preschool. We are a privately owned centre, providing care for 29 children a day, with the Authorised Supervisor (Tamara Groves) on the premises for 100% of the opening hours.
We provide the highest possible standard of care and education for children aged 3-6 years, with a strong focus on providing opportunity for each child to reach their full potential. In order to achieve this we do the following:
- Create a fun and nurturing environment that encourages learning
- Provide a place where everyone feels safe, secure and happy
- Work closely with families, valuing their ideas and opinions
- Recognise that each child is different and cater for their individual needs
- Work in conjunction with other community groups eg local schools
- Have qualified, caring and experienced staff.
- Build a trusting and secure place for both children and their families.
It is a well known fact that we learn more in the first 5 years of our life than we do at any other time.
